first i live in bharatpur rajasthan. i see house sparrows every day i think i see it because of Keoladeo National Park in bharatpur but my fathers work for indian railways and he transfer to kota rajasthan and know i am in kota rajasthan from last three years and i only see approximate 50 house sparrow in kota. it is because of forest and trees are cutting down most of animals not live in there natural habitat.

Just saw one sparrow from behind (so I don't know whether it was a male or female) while climbing the stairs of the apartment block, it had flown away by the time I could get cautious enough to find a way to inspect it further, Considering that this is the first time I saw a house sparrow in the past one year, I am gonna keep an eye out for more sightings in this locality.
