I put bird feed in my balcony (bajra and broken rice) and around 5-6 sparrows come everyday for the feed and they drink water. there are some dried pots with dried clay/mud lying in my balcony those sparrows like to sit on the pots and they try to sharpen their beaks on the edge of the pots. they make nests in openings of the roof(small holes left for electric wiring). During morning and evening walks I see many sparrows looking for insects/food in the lawns. Our colony has 17 blocks there is a lawn between every 2 blocks. All the lawns are bustling with sparrows. There are small trees and bushes all around the colony, I see sparrows sitting among the bushes.

It was a moment of fun to locate a sparrow while having our daily cuppa of Tea at the albega hospital's makeshift canteen. Few days later, again - now a couple sitting together and watching us from the nearby Tree plated in the canteen vicnity.

Population of house sparrows reduced. 2yrs before my home i seen 2 to 3 nets of sparrows. Now nothing is there.

Prior to my study and conservation,there was only 28 numbers of sparrows, there was also of lack of nest, i designed the artificial nest made of terracotta and and started feeding there since the month of february now the population of sparrows have been increased more than our exception it has more than 300 and in some other places where i have installed the artificial nests in the same time though the sparrows are coming for seeds they are not responding the nests, it is beyond my study ....and i want to learn a more about the same,
