This place has many temples on the banks of the river. Sparrows were spotted both near the temple area and little further from the temple in the market area as well. Apart from this, there is a village Jittenahalli, approximately 15 to 18 Km from this place. There I saw a big flock of sparrows. It was a beautiful scene. I saw this after my childhood.

when i lived in shimla...we lived in quarters and it was a 4 floor building.
it was old. and in the crevices many sparrows could be seen in the balcony. near electric meters their nests were there. but this was 6 years ago when i was in shimla. i dont know whether there are sparrows there or not
