My daughter went to this park early this morning. The park is adjacent to the Qutub Institutional area and there is an abandoned building nearby. The sparrows were seen in the area around this abandoned building.

WE KEEP BIRD FOOD AND WATER OUTSIDE OUR BEDROOM.THE BIRDS USED TO COME IN LARGE GROUPS IN THE MORNING AND EVENING AND SOME WOULD COME AT DIFFERENT TIMES THRU THE DAY. WHENEVER WE WENT FOR SUMMER VACATIONS WE WOULD COME BACK TO LOTS OF NESTS BUILT IN THE VARIOUS BUSHES IN THE GARDEN. FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS ONLY 3 SPARROWS COME AND THAT TOO NOT REGULARLY

My daughter went to Lakshmi Nagar to appear for an exam. The exams were held over one week, and there were a few sparrows around the premises of the school where the exams were held.

My grandfather used to take me to Lal baugh every morning. On returning, we used to find the flock of sparrows waiting on the terrace for the food, which my grand father used to keep in freshly washed big bowl. Most of them were waiting on coconut tree and terrace fences in front of our house.
I dont see them anymore. None nowadays. Very rarely I would find one or two on the terrace, But never in flock since 5 - 6 years (As my knowledge)

sparrows do come to our place and there is a nest also, once by mistake we threw the box in which sparrows were residing, but few months later again the two cute sparrows built their nest at the same place because we put the same box there. that day we were so delighted and specially my mother was so happy to see them back!
