Sparrow nest in the nest-boxes I have provided.Interestingly I have seen male sparrows feeding young ones with Tikoma flower petals.According to local belief, sparrows are friendly creatures and should not be harmed.Perhaps this explains why we have sparrows here.

'CHIRIYA'as we knew this bird in our childhood has suddenly got annoyed & deserted us. And why not? We deserved it. We the human beings in our mad pursuit for our comforts & luxury have mercilessly eliminated all flora & fauna. We either killed them, consumed them or totally wiped out their habitat & sourses of food & thus making them extint.I think there is still time that we take immediate corrective steps to save these beautiful innocent creatures which has so lovingly filled our mornings & evenings with its chirping music.
