On 17 Dec 2007, about 150 sparrows recorded congregating to a small tree by the side of busyf main road of Shankernagar.
Even today after lapse of about 5 yrs about 100-120 sparrows roost on the same tree, even though the traffic on the road and human activities have multified considerably, as observed by all of us.

Taurenga - Jatmai area in Raipur distt Raipur Chhattisgarh
On 16 Dec 2007, no sparrow no sparrows reecorded in Taurenga, Tank & tEMPLE AREA.
But in subsequent visit 2 year later about 25/30 sparrows were seen in residential area, no sparrow around tank, less than 5 in temple area
