We have two sparrow nests on the outside of our room-windows. There are five sparrows which live around our house and come to our terrace every day, for the water and food that we keep for them. They come early morning, then noon, and then in the late afternoon. THe group consists of 1-2 males and rest of them are females.

THERE'S A CLOSET IN MY FLOWERBED OUTSIDE THE LIVING ROOM WINDOW AND THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE FOR FOR THE SPARROWS TO GET IN AND OUT EVEN IF IT IS CLOSED. WHENEVER THE PLANTS DRY OFF,THE SPARROWS TAKE AWAY THE LIGHT TWIGS AND CLEAR THE SPACE IN MY FLOWERBED. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I HAVE 2 CROWS AS PETS WHO COME TO THE KITCHEN WINDOWSILL EVERY MORNING AND EAT AWAY THE FRESH CREAM SERVED BY ME.

Sargaon was known for good birds life and particularly for Sparrows & Bank Mynas, over the past 3 decades, which were recorded in every visit.
These days Bank Mynas have almost gone, only stray bird or two seen.
Sparrow population has declined sizeably, As against 120/ 150 birds seen in past in market area these day , even one come across 20/30 birds he must feel satisfied
