With urbanisation, the sparrows will soon disappear from here too , I feel lucky from all of the rest just because we can soothe ourselves with the twitter of the humble small creatures. The area I mentioned is like a small hamlet , though in the heart of the city it is genuinely primitive and a bit old fashioned in architecture. And that is why we have sparrows still , the mud tile roof structured houses with their mud walls provides beautiful nests for the sparrows but sadly enough all they have now is an electric pole with a hell lot mess of wires to hang on. I spot sparrows everyday , hear them chirping but the difference is I don't see any nests or happy, healthy sparrows . I spot them only in the morning and don't hear them in the evening like when I was a child. I request you to provide me with some nests and stuff to feed water and provide shelter to these house sparrows and to other birds like peigons that are strangely attracted to this electric pole

We live(d) in a farm house, near a man-made pond with livestocks and poultry. The area was always frequented with sparrows, Indian Robin, Red vented Bulbul, all day due to the always available food and water - that we had kept in the open. Surprisingly, all of the above birds (including our poultry) never fought with each other and were happilly helping out each other, if needed. Sparrow Nests were located a little far though I have seldom seen eggs. The population would rise during the sunny times and be limited otherwise.
