Here the people who have their offices in the place where i've reported keep food grains and water as feed to the sparrows.i am really happy to note that now a days awareness is being spread across to preserve those poor birds.

It seems these sparrows are not seen frequently in highly polluted areas like Chennai. But when we move to remote locations from the city, they are seen.

Myself and my mom used to feed them daily. If we miss our feeding time, these birds used chirp like anything reminding us to feed them. In initial days they used to be frightened but now they have become used to us and don't fear at all and allow us to get close to them. I have to say they have become a member of my family.
As summer is in its peak, we used to leave couple of plates with water in it and i really love to see these sparrows bathing and playing with it.
Myself and my mom used to feed them daily. If we miss our feeding time, these birds used chirp like anything reminding us to feed them.
