MY NATIVE IS IN A VILLAGE. WHEN I WAS SMALL BOY I USED TO BUILD SMALL NEST FOR SPARROWS IN OUR HOUSE. WHEN I SHIFTED FRO M THERE TO CHENNAI ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO. ONE DAY I THINK ABOUT MY SWEET CHILDHOOD MEMORIES SUDDENLY MY PET LIKE SPARROW STRIKE IN MY MIND SO IN ORDER TO FIND IT. I LOOK FOR EVERYWHERE AROUND MY AREA I FOUND ONLY FEW SPARROW IN A LARGE BANYAN TREE.

I belongs to a small town Dhampur from Uttar Pradesh.Since my childhood days i loved to feed Birds and Piegons.But as i grow up i observed that due to the constructions of new houses in our locality there is a huge fall in no. of sparrows.Looking towards the present scenario of declining rate of sparrows, the day is not far when we will see them in pictures only.The young ones don't even enjoyed the sweet chantings of this beautiful bird.It is our duty now to save this bird by not destroying its further existence,feed them,protect cutting down of trees etc.At last its my humble request to the mankind that dont destroy others existence for the survival of yours loved ones.

Only recently saw a pair of sparrows collecting straws to make their nest. Last time I saw must be a year back. This area has now become full of pigeons. Even crows have become a rarity here.

My 2 year old daughter feed this sparrows from food which she dont want to eat. she throw the food from balcony so the sparrrow which live near come and eat. my daughter usally enjoy feeding this small bird.
