This is all about the time when i was a kid, more exactly a school going kid....and the locality i am describing was a small villege market along with temperory bus stand surrounded by lots of neem, pipal and other trees, where every tuesday & friday there was gathering of villegers, shopkeepers, buyers in form of haat for sell n purchase of crops, vegetables and other household items under the shades of trees. this haat was rich resource of food for many common birds including sparrows and there were plenty of trees for making nests. early in the morning, when i used to go for a wallk, i have seen flock of sparrows collecting food grains from the haat, and i used to go near slowly slowly, to catch one of them....but as soon as i go near them

Saw 4 sparrows (3 females and 1 male) at "Taste of India" restaurant located at Bangalore International Airport (Domestic Departure lounge). They were chirping and hopping around customers and I could reach 2-3 feet from them.

My Village, Proud to have more than 100 + sparrows nesting at my home only...there are lot of sparrows nesting in different houses. But things have started changing as villager also started developing concrete houses instead of those beautiful mud houses but still grasslands tree give lot of opportunities to sparrows to develop their nest. I hope it still continues will be updating on the status frequently.

Every time i visit there to photograph some migratory birds, i use to see sparrows perching around on bushes and chirping at home around lake side.
