I live in a rented 1bhk flat on 4th floor in karvenagar. I have a big balcony and i love to feed pigeons and sparrows there. I feed them pearl millet ( baajri ). Around 10 - 20 sparrows come daily in my balcony to get their daily food along with pigeons. I have been keeping constant eye on their count and i am happy that their number is increasing.
They keep coming for whole day and chirp around. I love their presence in my balcony and it makes me happy too.

Ghandikhatta is the set-up of the community sifted from the forest. They use grass and mud to built their house. So that the sparrow the house as a nesting side and the like a home range. They feed them, also the sparrow did'nt afriad from the people. they did'nt hunt also.

i was lived there until nov-2011 and saw house sparrowd daily. in my balcony i put a small plate and gave them foods like piece of dosa, uppuma etc and water also. i was very happy there when i saw sparrows shared their foods with squerrels.

I WAS WORKED IN A SHOP THERE AND SAW SPARROWS DAILY, 6 OR 7 TIMES I SAW NESTS ( TOP OF THE SHOP SHUTTER). I THINK IN THAT TIME THERE WERE 2 OR THREE RICE SHOPS ARE WORKED AND THE SPARROWS MAINLY DEPENDED THEM
