My mother and I have a penchant for birds. When we moved to Gurgaon from Delhi, we wondered what birds would visit our balcony. the first visitor was a myna bird with his mate. we fed chapatti and bread to it regularly. Soon, in a matter of 1-2 months two pairs of sparrows started visiting us. i remember one incident when i was trying to take pictures of two young sparrow birds perched in the balcony grill. As i moved closer to take a good picture of the baby sparrows, it's overpossessive father came along and started making a loud noise. The father sparrow moved to the adjoining balcony and "had asked" his little ones to move along. His noise sounded like he was scolding me!
