But whenever I visit the Infant Jesus church, I find a few sparrows perching in the dome above. I make it a point to pray for their survival also because man, in his greed for enjoying life to the utomost, has detroyed the little abodes of these chirping sparrows and chased them away. He has created a conflict between birds and mankind, particularly those living in large urban concrete jungles called cities. |
