Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | MY BROTHER AND MOTHER SPREAD A GOOD MEASURE OF BROKEN RICE GRAINS, SPICY "KHARA BOONDI", GLUCOSE BISCUITS AND OF COURSE WATER IN A SMALL BUCKET, ON OUR TERRACE, DAILY FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS. A LARGE NUMBER OF SPARROWS, CROWS, MAINAS, BULBULS AND OCCASIONALLY KINGFISHERS,AND OTHER BIRDS VISIT THE HOUSE TERRACE TO FEED ON THAT. OF THESE, CROWS AND SPARROWS ARE SO USED TO MY BROTHER AND MOTHER THAT THEY NEVER FLY AWAY AND STAY THERE EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ON TERRACE DOING SOME WORK. WE ARE SURPRISED TO SEE GOOD NUMBER OF SPARROWS ON OUR TERRACE, WHEREAS THEY ARE NOT SEEN ELSEWHERE IN THE LOCALITY OR THE CITY. WE ENJOY THIS AND GET A GREAT SENSE OF SATISFACTION. |
