| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | On our way to Kochi from Hyderabad for our yearly vacation, we were to take a flight at RGI Airport. As we were going through the "Departures" entry, we saw several sparrows on the rafters of the building, as busy as anything...some playing, some chirping, some fighting with others....we were thrilled! I am sure, if we take pains to provide them with habitat, they will not become extinct. They need to live amongst us, being very gregarious birds. Let us supply them with nesting boxes, and other places like shaded corners, etc. |
