As my childhood memories (1993)of sector 24 Chandigarh. i remember observing their nesting and feeding behaviour during my summer vacations and as a university student when we visited pu campus to study birds of pu, as part of our practical work. I was astonished and sad to know from my professor that we do not have sparrows in pu campus (1999) we were able to located different birds like hornbills, treepies,caucals, wagtails, babblers, peacocks besides crows and pegions. |
