Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | There was a nest on my window sill & a baby sparrow fell down, I managed to return it to its nest, but the parents refused to own it. They kept pecking and chasing the baby till it died. I was a child and was very disturbed when I saw this. Also remember these often chirpy, gentle and at the same time somewhat aggressive birds - they'd eat up dead cockroaches that my mum would sweep out of the house. I would be amazed at their abilities, because these were poisoned cockroaches. |
